Dan Matthews

During his decades long career as an international corporate lawyer in Europe, Dan was drawn to the attractive and walkable city centers across the continent. Upon returning to Florida in 2017, he founded Lakeview Oak to pursue his passion for revitalizing historic areas with unique and human-scale, mixed-use developments.

Dan earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida. He and his family live in Sanford, Florida.

Jose Venegas

With almost 20 years of urban design and architectural consulting experience, Jose’s innovative and thoughtful approach can be seen in over 50 design projects resulting in master plan visions for regions, cities, towns, campuses, and business real estate assets. Jose brings an innovative design platform to create new projects that will revitalize walkable communities with mixed-use infill construction on a human scale.

Jose was drawn to Lakeview Oak to pursue his passion for traditional urbanism by creating strong and sustainable communities where people can live work, and play. His strong work ethic combines his creative talents with a meticulous ability to streamline design processes.

Jose received his undergraduate degree from Loma Linda University and his Master of Architecture from the University of Miami. He and his family live in Orlando.
